The partners of the firm Atem Kukin, Artur Rokhlin and Maxim Rovinsky are ranked in Corporate/M&A, Competition/Antitrust and Tax areas accordingly
The most reliable International editorial "Chambers and partners" has published the results of the Russian legal market research in early March. The law firms are evaluated by their clients and colleagues feed-back on the cooperation for the past 12 months.
In the research report Infralex is viewed as a domestic mid-market firm providing Russian law support to cross-border deals, often acting as local co-counsel to international law firms.
One of clients describes the Infralex lawyers as "proactive, very practical and commercial," whilst another one says: "They're flexible and they understand our business needs."
Other Interviewees describe the partner Artem Kukin as a "client-oriented, pragmatic and commercial" practitioner. He provides Russian law support to domestic and international companies involved in transactional mandates.
Partner Artur Rokhlin assists with compliance issues, merger clearance and risk assessments, as well as assisting with contentious mandates including appeals against decisions of the FAS, further to advising on the violation of IP rights. Rokhlin assisted the Federal Institute of Academic Assessments with competition compliance in the design of a tender process mechanism as well as subsequent related arbitration proceedings.
Partner Maxim Rovinskiy advises clients on corporate tax issues within transactions. He is also active on contentious mandates. Sources praise him for his attentiveness and co-ordination skills, with one client adding: ''His approach to work is systematic and balanced.''
